Event Letters was founded by David and Katelyn Clark, a husband and wife team based in Brisbane. In 2014, David’s sister was planning her 21st birthday party. She wanted something special that would stand out and came up with the idea of a giant ‘21’ positioned on the dance floor.
David, a qualified mechanical engineer, joined forces with Katelyn’s father, a cabinet maker, to turn this idea into a reality by designing and building the first ever Event Letters prototype!
The impact of these life-size numbers was incredible. Guests were delighted with the photo opportunities, and word spread amongst family and friends. Pretty soon, requests from brides-to-be and businesses were flooding in. Demand grew so quickly that what started as a ‘weekend gig’ became a flourishing fulltime business.

We hand craft the finishing touches on every item to ensure the quality is second-to-none. Known for our consistency, reliability and responsiveness, Event Letters delivers and installs to a huge array of indoor and outdoor locations throughout south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales.
